These scissors (known as "Benbow" scissors) are designed to make learning to use scissors easier. Small finger loops and vinyl coating help the scissors stay on the distal aspect of the child's fingers. Compact size (3 1/2" in length) and high quality construction allow for success with a minimum of coordinated movement. This design encourages the use of isolated finger movements.
